This month marks FocalPath Coaching’s 16th anniversary! We are honored to have worked with so many wonderful people at so many amazing companies over the years. For this, we are eternally grateful and want to pass along our thanks and gratitude to our current and former clients.
Speaking of giving positive feedback, I hope you will enjoy this month’s article that focuses on the power of kindness at work.
With many of us returning to some form of in person work, please remember the importance of kindness, recognition and appreciation. It’s been difficult to keep these things in focus over the last 15 months and it is time to bring them back as a priority, even if you plan to keep your staff as a remote workforce.
One great activity I recommend is to have your staff recognize each other by sharing how someone demonstrates the company’s core values. It has a wonderful impact on so many levels. The two staff members connect, it reinforces the company’s values and sets the tone for positive reinforcement.
As always, if we can be of any assistance to you, your team or a colleague please reach out.
Stay safe, be grateful.
Don’t Underestimate the Power of Kindness at Work
Everybody wants to be happy. But how can we meet that sometimes elusive goal? This was a difficult question even before the global pandemic, but nowadays just thinking about it can seem futile. Parents are trying to balance the demands of remote work and online schooling; people who live alone try to keep their focus in isolation. When life is measured by back-to-back Zoom meetings, even taking a shower can seem like a win.
