How much time do you spend thinking about your employees? If you are a typical business owner, the answer is…a ton! In this issue, I’ve included two articles that focus on employee related topics. One is on how to motivate employees to reach their full potential and the other contains some ideas on how to safely return everyone to the workplace post COVID. As the world slowly begins to open up and we can return to some sense of normalcy, I think it will be exponentially important to keep our teams motivated and to remind them of how much we appreciate them.
Also, don’t be surprised if there is some apprehension about coming back into the office by some team members; to some it will feel unnatural and perhaps even scary. I hope these insights will offer some guidance to you as you lead your teams through a successful year.
As always, if I can be of any assistance, please reach out.
Stay safe, be grateful!
Financial Targets Don’t Motivate Employees
Would you be excited if your boss started a meeting saying: “I want to remind you that you’re a cog in a machine whose primary purpose is to hit our financial targets”?
